📋 Mandatory Fields for GST Invoice
- • Invoice number and date
- • Supplier and buyer GSTIN (if registered)
- • Place of supply and delivery
- • HSN/SAC codes (if turnover > ₹5Cr)
- • Itemized description with quantity and rate
- • Taxable value and GST amount
- • Supplier's signature or digital signature
💡 GST Rate Categories
- • 0%: Healthcare, Education exports
- • 5%: Essential items, transport
- • 12%: Processed food, computers
- • 18%: Most services, goods (standard)
- • 28%: Luxury items, automobiles
⚠️ Important Notes
- • Keep invoices for minimum 6 years as per GST law
- • Issue invoice within 30 days of supply
- • For exports, mention "Supply meant for export" and LUT/Bond number
- • Inter-state supply: Mention IGST; Intra-state: CGST + SGST
- • Sequential invoice numbering is mandatory
