The deduction for health insurance premiums for yourself, your family and your parents, under the old regime.
Section 126 (formerly 80D) allows up to ₹25,000 a year for premiums for yourself, your spouse and children (₹50,000 if you are 60 or over), and a further ₹25,000 for your parents (₹50,000 if either is a senior citizen). A preventive health check-up of up to ₹5,000 counts within these limits, not on top.
Like 80C, it is an old-regime deduction only.
