Stay On Topic

Keep discussions relevant to the category. Post in appropriate categories and avoid derailing conversations.

Share Quality Content

Provide valuable insights, back claims with sources, and contribute meaningfully. Low-effort posts and spam will be removed.

Verify Information

Check facts before posting. Cite sources for news, data, and analysis. Misinformation and unverified rumors are harmful to the community.

Prohibited Content & Behavior

Spam & Self-Promotion

High

Excessive self-promotion, referral links, or commercial content without disclosure. Limit promotional content to 10% of your activity.

Harassment & Bullying

Critical

Personal attacks, doxxing, threats, or targeted harassment of any kind.

Misinformation

High

Deliberately spreading false information, unverified rumors, or pump-and-dump schemes.

Hate Speech

Critical

Content that promotes discrimination, violence, or hatred based on race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics.

Illegal Activity

Critical

Discussion or promotion of illegal activities, including insider trading, market manipulation, or financial fraud.

Inappropriate Content

High

Sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or content that is otherwise inappropriate for a professional community.

Impersonation

Critical

Pretending to be another person, organization, or verified expert without authorization.

Vote Manipulation

High

Using multiple accounts to upvote/downvote content, asking for votes, or coordinated voting.

Enforcement & Consequences

Violations of community guidelines will result in actions based on severity and repeat offenses:

1st

Warning

First-time minor violations receive a warning. Content may be removed or edited.

2nd

Temporary Ban (7 days)

Repeat violations or moderate offenses result in a 7-day ban from posting and commenting.

3rd

Permanent Ban

Continued violations or severe offenses result in permanent account suspension.

Immediate Permanent Ban

Critical violations (harassment, hate speech, illegal activity) may result in immediate permanent ban without warning.

Reporting Violations

If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it:

Use the "Report" button on posts and comments
Email serious issues to moderation@bulltimes.com

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. False or malicious reports may result in action against the reporter.

Appeal Process

If you believe you were banned unfairly or want to appeal a moderation decision:

  2. 2Explain why you believe the decision was incorrect
  3. 3Provide any relevant context or evidence
  4. 4Wait for review (typically 3-5 business days)

Appeals are reviewed by senior moderators. The decision on appeals is final.
